Alien Secrets book review

Alien Secrets is written by Annette Curtis Klause.  For those who like science fiction novels, this is a MUST READ.  It only has 227 pages, so it’s not too long and not too short.

Alien Secrets is about an alien who befriends a girl on a spaceship, and together they fight space smugglers and hostile alien species, trying to recover a small statue that was stolen from the alien Hush.  Things take a turn when ghosts are discovered to be haunting the ship!  Hush is framed for murder and thrown in jail, so it is up to the girl Puck to find the statue. Identities change, new villains rise, and people who were thought to be good are found to be bad. This book will keep the reader guessing all the way through and has a great ending.

My favorite part  is when Puck sees the ghosts for the first time.  She had been hearing strange moans and screams, so she goes to investigate.  Finally, when the ship is traveling through hyperspace, Puck sees hundreds of alien ghosts.

I recommend this book to anyone interested in science fiction, action, or mystery.   On a scale of one to ten, I would give it an eight.
